Visiting the Ashram


The Elysium Ashram has been set up as a place which is available to anyone who is serious about truly awakening out of the spell of the illusion of the bind of the mind informancy of their mindbody.

We like to think that we are so capable of awakening to this great matter on our own, which of course, is part of this very same illusion that we are already suffering and so very lost in. We are not the solitary and isolated mindbody package that we think we are.

We need help to become consciously established in the ChristVoid that is already true of us. The company of others who are already serious about this great matter of the Heart are the best friends we could ever possibly give ourselves.

The Elysium Ashram was a natural flowering of a very small group of people who committed themselves to the integrity of truly understanding the freedom of what it is that is already true of us - our true nature. It began in Patea, South Taranaki, New Zealand, mid 2004. It became obvious that something was going on here that was clearly working for those who applied themselves. Those that visited and did not apply themselves were able to continue on as they always have done - usually with an added dose of aggravation from their mind informancy.

There was immediate freedom to anyone who consciously recognised "that" which is already flowing through the very eyes of everyman, in those moments of recognition and deep at-rest-ment. It was clear that it was all to do with the conscious and moment by moment realizing of what it is that is always flowing through everyman and which is freely standing before all else.

December 2007 saw a change in the whole group as one of the family - Julie Sarah Powell - dissolved into the disposition of no-self. This is the state of no longer oscillating between the Heart and the mindbody package that the ChristVoid is flowing through. This member brought a greater clarity and ease of connecting to what is already true of us, than was available before her loss of identification with the mindbody package.

The new classroom of oneness that some teachers have found themselves within - where they continue to grow and expand into the oneness of the divine over many many years - is now a completely unnecessary stage for anyone to have to move through. The length of time that it customarily takes - decades of years - is just more of the unwillingness to surrender the hold on who we think we are. The availability of consciously recognising the ChristVoid that is already true of what it is that we always are, will bring us directly home to the Heart - if this is what we are truly wanting for ourselves.

Be warned though! It will bring about the dissolution of everything that we presently cling to - albeit falsely. What we think we are, throughout the moment by moment rounds of our daily living, will die.

This is the purpose of The Elysium Ashram, and it is a much needed - and overly underestimated - place in our world.

Anytime daily - except Wednesday afternoons - between the hours of

Appointments are completely unnecessary. If accommodation is wanted within a practioner's household, then you will need to inquire whether there is a room available for the time of your visit.

For those of you who wish to awaken into the clarity of realizing what it is that you truly are - which is already freely standing of the bindings of the automaticity of you being lost to the unfolding of the natural man that is already true of you - I strongly recommend a stay of no less than 6 weeks if you can afford to do so.

Your first week will mostly be spent in trying not to run away from here - not because of anything that is being done to you - all we will be doing is sitting in the already-ness of what it is that is already true of you.

The costs are - in N.Z. dollars - $280 per week for sitting at the Ashram.

Abuse will not be tolerated here. The Ashram is a safe haven for those who are sincere about growing into the openness of, and the softening into, your true nature. Those who feel justified in living out their obnoxious behaviour - because of their stuck and closed-fisted belief that they are superior and more clever than everyone else - will be asked to leave.

The privelege and amazingness of being able to participate in the flowering and incarnation of the vastness of the trueness of the natural man is very much something that we are all involved in together. The isolated, separated and shutdown motion of the me of who you think you are has no place here.

$180 per week for accommodation in a household - which includes the meals of that household - or $35 per night; only when such vacancies exist, of course.

Staying in a household of practitioners who are learning the art of moving from this place of already-ness is a privelege and not a "backpacker's alternative" for inexpensive accommodation.

Summer months are the beginning of December till the end of March.

Winter is the beginning of June till the end of September.
